Yep, that comment actually came out of my mouth the other day when i was watching the show and one of the contestants' moms opted for her daughter to perform with her own teeth. In a normal world, that would be just fine. A seven year old is supposed to be missing his/her front teeth. Bust out a pic of Little ReRe from 1988 and you can kick a field goal in my mouth. But in the Glitz word the snagga tooth look does NOT get you Miss Grand Supreme.
Ok, i'm stopping this post right now. Why? Because i'm ashamed that i know the following terms:
- Flipper
- Glitz
- Miss Grand Supreme

This show is my weird little guilty pleasure too. Sometimes I wonder why I watch it though because it makes the feminist in me want to tear my hair out. The mom in this clip gets some props from me though.Seems like she is very aware of who her son is and just as loving and supportive as all parents should be of their children.
I watch it too....but it's one of those things that makes me feel good and bad about after watching.
Good: Because I know I will NOT be a crazy stage mom jackin my kid up on Pixie Stix
Bad: Because really out of all the programs on TV, I sit and watch this.
I can't help it though, that big hair and tantrums pull me in.
